College life is not all about being a goody two shoes. It’s also all about productively rebelling. This nerdy-looking guy knows how to have a good time and live like a bad ass by skipping homework and going to the mountains on a sunny day wearing an over-sized, checkered shirt. He should have just looked for homework help online instead of making a run for it. Let’s not hope he didn’t post this on Facebook or he might get more than an F in homework.

Lessons Highschool Students Can Learn from Frankenstein

Since school is about to begin in less than five weeks, it is high time students hit the books and begin on munching on literature that would be part of their reading list when school time comes. And one of the books in every classroom reading list is Frankenstein.

Messing with the natural order of things has serious consequences
When Victor Frankenstein created the robot and brought it to life, even not giving it a name, he unleashed an unseen force of destruction.  He created a living, breathing creature the unnatural way and then turned his back because the creature did not looked like what he envisioned.

There is evil inside each of us
Robot or human, we all have our dark side. We are all inclined to go to the dark by certain life situations which overall are confusing and disheartening.  The monster turned murderous after he experienced rejection and disgust because of its appearance.

Taking someone else’s life for revenge does not bring peace
Vengeance in the form of killing will never, ever bring complete peace.  It might bring satisfaction and a sense of justice but it will forever haunt us, no matter how wronged we felt.  Victor spent the last months and days of life just searching the monster and vowing that one of them has to die so that the string of deaths of his loved ones will end.

9 Tearjerker Songs For Graduating College Students

College students have this mixed feeling of anxiety, nervousness, and excitement when graduation day comes. They are relieved that days of writing term papers and exams are behind them, but are also nostalgic of the countless happy and fun times, and are scared because they are stepping into the real world where unemployment rate is up and that it wouldn’t be as carefree as it is on the four walls of the university.

And graduation songs definitely add to the reminiscing mood on university commencement day. Songs have a way to make us feel grateful and sad at the same time. I dare you not to cry upon hearing the following songs that were a staple during G-day.

VITAMIN C (Friends Forever)

But when we leave this year we won’t be coming back
No more hanging out cause we’re on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don’t have another day

The Beatles – In My Life

There are places I’ll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I’ve loved them all

Eve 6- Here’s to the Night

Here’s a toast to all those who hear me all to well.
Here’s to the night we felt alive.
Here’s to the tears you knew you’d cry.
Here’s to goodbye tomorrow’s going to come to soon.

Rascal Flatts – I’m Moving On

I’ve lived in this place…
and I know all the faces
Each one is different…
but they’re always the same

Bowling for Soup- Highschool Never Ends

The whole damn world is just as obsessed
With who‘s the best dressed and who‘s having sex,
Who‘s got the money, who gets the honeys,
Who‘s kinda cute and who‘s just a mess
And I still don’t have the right look
And I still have the same three friends
And I’m pretty much the same as I was back then
High school never ends

Sarah McLahlan – I Will Remember You

I will remember you, will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by,
Weep not for the memories
Remember the good times that we had?

Seals and Crofts- We May Never Pass This Way Again

They don’t see just where we’re goin’
And all the secrets in the universe
Whisper in our ears
All the years that come and go
Take us up, always up
…We may never pass this way again

Carly Smithson- Blackbird

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free

Trace Adkins -You’re Gonna Miss This

You’re gonna miss this
You’re gonna want this back
You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you’re gonna miss this
